As part of the scientific activities of the Department of Pharmacy, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) organized a scientific panel titled "Strengthening Medication Safety and Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) in Kurdistan".
The panel was moderated by Ms. Taqan Abdulrahman, Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, with the participation of:

Dr. Kani Kawe Mustafa, Clinical Pharmacist at Hiwa Hospital
Dr. Hana Rafeq Hidayat, Clinical Pharmacist at Hiwa Hospital
The discussion focused on the importance of implementing international GPP standards, the vital role of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety, and raising awareness about the rational and safe use of medicines.
At the end of the panel, appreciation certificates were presented to the guest speakers by the institute's presidency.
