This commitment to excellence is underscored by the issuance of Official Order No. 2085 by the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on February 19, 2018, formally establishing the National Institute of Technology.
As an institution in a continual phase of development, NIT remains steadfast in its commitment to expansion, firmly rooted in the belief that educational opportunities should be accessible to all, irrespective of age or academic level. Up till present, NIT boasts an enrollment of thousands of students has evolved to encompass eight distinct departments.
