National Institute of Technology was established by Soran Mhammad Fatih in 2018. NIT is a private, non-profit institution whose mission is to educate a generation that will aid in the growth of our society by educating and training them in a range of subjects in their major that would enable them to thrive in their field. Moreover, on February 19, 2018, the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued Official Order No. 2085, establishing the National Institute of Technology.
