The National Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the College of Engineering at Sulaimani Polytechnic University, organized a panel titled “Solutions for Global Warming through New Techniques in Urban Areas.” The panel featured distinguished speakers, Mr. Chovin Ibrahim Hussein and Ms. Avan Ali Mohammed, from the Department of Urban Planning Engineering. Discussions focused on critical topics related to environmental protection, particularly in urban settings, and explored innovative approaches to addressing climate change through sustainable city planning, housing, and construction techniques. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where participants raised questions and shared reflections. The panel was moderated by Mr. Deron Hassan, lecturer at the Nursing Department, National Institute of Technology.
